Yet another Server

Starting 2007 YaS became somewhat professional. We changed the whole management and applied some rules. The main reason why YaS exists is, that H²ICY closed. H²ICY was my own hosting company, which did work out pretty well, but then when Safwat Verstrepen (the founder besides me) went ill. He couldn't do anything anymore, his illness was something somewhat serious. Not telling for privacy reasons. Now because of that we are here at your service.

What is YaS?

YaS basically is a group of cool gamers that like cross gaming and don't give to much about winning, but rather more about fun in gameplay. And no, really, we are not a clan. The reason i don't make YaS a clan is: 50% will leave. And i can't take it because i got no skill nor the time to get it.

Who is the main person behind this?

David Marner, me. But that's just because i founded the idea of YaS. Of course by now Nico Hamm and Klaus Zipfel are as much admins or managers as i am. (Maybe people are little more fanatic about me but yeah...) But we don't want to forget N. B., i demoted him to be a Global-Admin because he isn't really active for YaS anymore. Thought he is hosting his Servers for YaS and is more or less always there if something needs to be done.

Why do you use real names now?

Legal stuff. As i said we are going a bit more professional now.

Admins, Moderators and Managers?

The difference between Manager and Admin is small. Managers have access to backends and, who would think so, management stuff. Admins and Managers have besides that the same rights (in game and whereever else you might think), thought they are untouchable by rules. There for to protect gameplay and fun we do not ever elect other Managers anymore if the person isn't proven a 100% reliable, 18 or older and serving something to YaS. Servings may be Servers, Money and/or Smartness (yeah laught, but this can be a help). Moderators are slaves. Seriously Admins and Managers may commmand them to do stuff for them and they will have to do it. Just think about the army. Rights are moderate, they can do a lot, but not everything.

May i become Admin or Moderator?

Be active for about 1 Year or get known by YaS and be 18 or older: Write an application eMail to one of the Management guys. It's not a garantee, so do not expect us to answer.
